| Metal News: Flotsam and Jetsam Activity Update |
|
FLOTSAM AND JETSAM drummer Craig Nielsen has issued the following update: "It's already been released directly from the President and CEO of Warner Music Group, but in case you haven't heard, the band is now signed to Driven Music, founded by Brian 'Head' Welch from KORN, and now formally distributed by Warner through its Ryko Distribution. This is MAJOR news for this band. Not enough could be possibly said about the benefit of having such extensive distribution resources as Warner Music. "The band will begin recording the new record this August and I will update with a proposed release date as soon as we are finished. This record will be given 100% of this bands talent, creativity, energy and passion. Nothing will be on it that we don't absolutely believe is the very best we could possibly create and deliver live. Also, our UNBELIEVABLY killer live DVD, filmed in Poland at the Metalmania Festival for many thousands of rabid fans, called 'Once In A Deathtime', will also be released this summer, June 29 is what we are hoping for. The filming is incredible, the crowd is huge, the band is on fire. Definitely check this DVD out. It is the one we have been hoping and waiting to make since the beginning."

| Metal News: Eluveitie Two Do Runner |
|
After a long time playing together with us, Sevan (flute, whistles, bagpipes) and Rafi (bass) decided to leave Eluveitie. Both of them came to this desicion due to personal reasons. Both, Sevan and Rafi, were longtime members. Sevan was with Eluveitie from the very beginning on. So their step was kind of a shock for us. Yet we also understand and accept their desicion. We won't forget the years we spent together and we wish Sevan and Rafi all the very best on their future musical as well as personal ways! "Thank you both for your dedication and for the time we spent together the last four years! Take care & horns raised!!!" Sevan and Rafi will still play with us the next couple of shows! But of course we're now looking for worthy replacements - a bass player and a multi-instrumentalist well playing bagpipes (Gaita and similar), tin and low whistles and eventually Irish flute.

| Metal News: Bolt Thrower Throw Teddy |
|
We've spent the last year trying to write songs for a new album, planning to go into the studio this summer, unfortunately, after a lot of thought, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the recording indefinitely.
We know everybody says that their new album is better than their last, but with us we really believed that. From day one we made it clear that we'd stop recording when we felt we'd written the ultimate Bolt Thrower album, we just never knew when that would be, we kind of took for granted that each release would get better and better.
But we have realised now that our last release, "Those Once Loyal" turned out to be that album, and basically the new stuff we have written just doesn't match up to it. We have a lot of pride in our back catalogue, and we refuse to turn into one of the many bands (like the ones we grew up listening to) who end up releasing crap, and we're also not prepared to compromise by instead releasing an album of cover versions or a 'best of' album.
Sorry to disappoint those of you looking forward to hearing new BT songs, but we always said that we would never release anything we weren't happy with or that, in our view, didn't at least match up to our previous work.
