Carol of the Bells

Regarding frozen Hærken here, they are still active as a band supposedly but no albums since 2014!

Backbone of the band I meant to say

Name your iteration after one of their songs and carry on

Granted, the band was named after Vanderhoof's apartment nickname, so you say he was the back ground of the band. But I agree, in almost every case, if a band is made up completely of new members, they are just profiting by the legacy.

He came back to the Ronnie Munro era with all new second rate members. The return of Mike helped, and the music was better, but it still lacked the greatness of Metal Church. This new singer is decent, and the material is still OK. But I feel as though this current rendition should change it's name. I think it kind of hurting the Metal Church legacy. Your thoughts...

With Metal Church I just can't these days. They were unequivocally one of my absolute favorite bands growing up. While David Wayne's departure angered me, Mike Howe grew on me. And rather quickly. But then, pretty much all of the original members left at the same time, mostly for health reasons. And IMO, Duke Eriksson (bass) and Kirk Arrington (drums) were the backbone of the band and made them what they were. Kurt Vanderhoof, never really wanted to be in MC.

I came to metal through the old Metallica gate.

Music is great but I personally get falsetto fatigue very easily.

💀👍

I put their last two albums in my dropbox. Necropheige will make them available for us on the radio soon.

I heard most of Metal Church XI today.

Reboot didn't work?

It depends on what error occurred! On the old site, it would sometimes get reset.

will the request queue reset when the stream comes back on?

They have a bunch of remasters too

Good idea

While Killboot is on hiatus, I'll be listening to Metal Church's latest album.

bad toaster. BAD toaster. 😠

Technically, can you listen to silence?

Kinda funny there are 8 people listening
