Spleen
This is not what this space is intended for, but it was empty and looked so barren and lonely.
When I was in high school, I had a garage band. We were crappy, sucky and not good. I used my 4-track to record two demo tapes, which I have since burned onto CD, perhaps I should have just burned. Our name was Spleen and I was lead vocalist and bass player, as Les Claypool was a huge hero of mine at the time. There are two copies of our first demo, "Asphyxiate the Children" and exactly one copy of the second, "In Between", which I own.
The track listing follows:
Asphyxiate the Children (1995)
1)Somedays I Just Wanna Die
2)College Life
3)Moshin' At the Mall
4)Unorthodoxology
5)The Ballad of Garth Brooks
6)Mr. Dumbfuck Asshole
7)The Afterlife
8)Showering Naked
9)Death
10)On Your Knees
11)L.W.
In Between (1996)
1)Nothing To You
2)I Don't Know
3)Mutual It
4)I Present the Present
5)My Psychiatrist Shot Himself
6)Revenge
7)Avarice
8)Full and Under
9)Picses Cancer
10)Difference of Thought
11)Janequils
12) instrumental track titled "We Didn't Know What To Call This Song So We Just Wrote A Bunch Of Crap On The Bottom Of The Page."
I own both of these CDs, and the guitarist for the band has the other copy of "Asphyxiate"
Ah, we were young, we were stupid...
