A couple of suggestions for the betterment of the site
1) Let us have more requests. 2 songs in 2 hours is not cutting it, especially now that there are so few members here every day.
Having more requests per 2 hours (5, say) would :
- allow those members who do themes to get through them quicker
- allow those members who play the same songs every day to "get it out of the way"
- attract new members
- please current members
- bring HMR up to par with other streaming radio stations that allow requests
- stop us from having to listen to KillBot`s crappy picks all the time
The system would obviously be easy to abuse, but not very many people are blacksnow.
2) Make the time that a same track can be played longer. Currently it is about 8 hours, 45 minutes. It should be MUCH longer. Other sites which use a request format have this number at 3 days, 12 hours. For obvious reasons, this is a good idea. And in light of StormbringeR`s return, a valid point. The same songs being played every day at the same time, sometimes twice a day... is killing this station and driving away members.
